Self-compassion involves treating ourselves with kindness, understanding, and acceptance, especially when we experience failure or challenges. We often treat others with compassion and understanding, but forget to treat ourselves the same. The Compassion Circle is a tale about friendship, self-compassion, recognising that others experience similar difficulties to our own, and that sharing difficulties with others makes us not only more compassionate to others, but also ourselves.
