The Tale of Joyful Resonance is about a concept called capitalising, which is a way of responding to others’ good news with interest and enthusiasm. Unfortunately, sometimes when we share good news with someone, it can be met with ignorance, searching for downsides, or a half-hearted reaction, all of which can completely stop our enjoyment of the good news we’re sharing. Celebrating others’ good news and amplifying their positive emotions, rather than downplaying them, nurtures relationships and ensures that positive emotions ripple onto other people, building a stronger classroom community.
